About the book:

(Taken from Amazon.co.uk)

College freshman Claire Danvers has had enough of her nightmarish dorm situation, where the popular girls never let her forget just where she ranks in the school's social scene: somewhere less than zero. When Claire heads off-campus, the imposing old house where she finds a room may not be much better. Her new roommates don't show many signs of life, but they come out fighting when the town's deepest secrets come crawling out, hungry for fresh blood...

Review:

Omg! Glass Houses is addictive! I was unable to put it down from start to finish and only to immediately pick up book 2!

Possibly the best book in a series I've ever read in a long time and I cannot wait to read them all! Rachel Caines writing will leave you wanting or quite literally craving more and more!

New student Claire is getting hassled by quite an evil girl Monika plus her Monickettes! I HATE HER! Although it is obvious some are only doing it for their own protection but others for enjoyment.

Shane... I LOVE HIM! Protective, boy next door, sexy, loving, caring! A perfect guy but I did get confused about him wondering if he was a vampire or something else? hmm... No idea but I've no idea why I'm thinking a wolf or something I think it was the *little pup* comment made towards him. But omg! what was with his dad? and that like electric shot type thing? hmm...

Eve! You just have to love her! She's awesome! Although I so want to know more of her story as she's really interesting.

Michael.. Is it possible to have two perfect male characters in a book? There has just got to be some sort of change or something so him and Eve can go out in the day time and live happily ever after!

Shane and Claire... sooo cute! I <3 them together! But... I'm loving the slowness between them.. It seems real and their connection is real!

I need to read on in this series NOW! I absolutely loved this book! Everyone needs to read these now if they haven't!

Have you read Glass Houses? What did you think?

Interview:

~ Can you share with readers your latest book/author news?

I have just finished the last read through of my latest contemporary romance 'Alter' and it is ready to launch. I'm just giving early reviewers the chance to read it and then it will be
uploaded.

~ Where do you get most of your inspiration from?

I get it from events that have happened to me, my friends, perhaps something on tv - I even had an idea while hanging the washing on the line one time! I find inspiration all around me.

~ What's the best thing about being an author?

Working in front of the television, wearing your pyjamas

~ Name one highlight of your writing journey so far?

Getting fan mail - it's so wonderful to open a message from someone who loved your work so much, that they just had to talk to you about it.

~ Who designs your book covers?

I do, but I run them by a friend who has a slightly better eye than I do.

~ What book are you currently reading and can you rate it out of 5?

I am currently reading 'Rock with me' by Kristen Proby - so far I'm loving it, so I'm likely to go with 4 or 5 stars at the end of it.

~ What advice would you give to aspiring authors?

Set yourself a writing goal and stick to it. Mine are usually daily word counts, I give myself a time limit on writing that first draft and then slow things down from there. Also, find a beta reader or critique partner who will be honest with you - you won't always want to hear it, but it's important to have someone who will tell you when your work isn't good enough.

~ Is there anything specific you'd like to say to readers?

I don't know how you all found me, but I am so glad you did! Thank you so much for enjoying my work! I love my job, and it's all a bit of a dream right now. A wonderfully incredible dream, that I hope never ends!

What do you think of the interview? Have you read any of the authors books?

To your knees.”

She blinked, stunned at the power and command in his voice. As the control washed over her, she wanted to respond, but she found herself too annoyed things werent going according to plan. While shed expected him to ask her questions to find out what he was in store for, she didnt expect anything of this magnitude.

Angry, she returned his glare.

He smirked. The reaction caused her insides to turn to jelly, her vitriolic thoughts vanishing on the chilly night air. Why did he have to be so goddamned handsome and annoying at the same time?

I suggest you listen if you want me to consider taking you on as I dont like repeating myself. To. Your. Knees.”

She opened her mouth to protest and he tilted his head down just enough to give her another message. A very stern one she couldnt help but listen to. He would not be ignored.

She dropped her hands to her sides and slowly lowered to her knees. The rough rocks immediately bit into her shins, but she wouldnt give him the satisfaction of showing him she was in pain. She heard the unmistakable sound of buttons popping on his jeans and looked up just in time to see him part the denim. What in the Sam hell did he intend to do? If he expected her to suck his dick right here and now, hed better think again.

Eyes down.”

The authority behind those two words coursed through her, compelling her to obey. It had been a long time since shed had this kind of reaction. Swallowing the lump in her throat, she complied. The denim pooled around his ankles and she found herself staring at the pile.

Just as she started to wonder if Elena had been out of her mind to recommend this man, his hand slid against the top of her head. His touch was almost calming and, despite her annoyance, a feeling of tranquility washed over her. His fingers combed her hair, catching the elastic holder from her ponytail, pulling it free. He continued to run his fingers through the strands, fanning out her hair. She relaxed under his persistent touch. The pain in her legs melted away and she gave a soft sigh as her body started to quietly buzz.

Yes.

The crunch of rocks jolted her back to the moment. She listened to him move away, leaving her alone on the rock path in front of his house.

What in the hell?

Beth looked to the left and her eyes widened in surprise as she spotted him. He strolled toward the small lake at the front corner of the field, towel swinging in his hand as he walked. Those jeans of his were at her feet and she now had an unobstructed view of his bare ass.

A very firm, very tan, perfectly formed ass.

Christ on a slinky going down an up escalator if he doesnt look even better out of those jeans.

Transfixed by the bunch and pull of the muscles in his thighs and butt as he walked over the uneven ground, she forgot her place and openly gawked.

When he reached the bank at the waters edge, he dropped the towel and walked right into the lake. She expected him to dive under the surface, but instead he slowly moved until the water lapped as his hips. He sunk as if he were a knife cutting through the water, disappearing with no more than a quiet ripple disturbing the surface. The lake smoothed in seconds.

The only indication she ever had company were those damn jeans on the ground in front of her.

Bonnie stifled a sigh. He was doing it again. Staring at her, as he had been every day that week. She was on a fortnight’s training course through work. She was the only one from her office who’d been sent. As a result, she knew no one and ended up sitting alone in the college’s cafeteria at lunchtimes. She’d had a couple of invites from kindly people also on her course, but she’d turned them down. It wasn’t that she was being rude or anti-social, she just hated people to see her eat. She was a big girl—that was putting it politely—and when people saw her eat, she could feel the judgment rolling off them in waves, the thoughts that she was fat because she ate so much.
It wasn’t true. About what she ate, that was. She was fat, and there was no denying it. But it certainly wasn’t her doing. She’d been born to large parents, and despite a healthy diet and plenty of exercise, she was still overweight. All she ever managed to shift was a pound or two here and there, and that was hardly noticeable, particularly on a woman her size. She kept at it, though, resigned to being a larger lady, but determined not to get any bigger.
Because she’d always been big, she was used to the snide comments, the dirty and derisive looks, the open stares. So it didn’t upset her any more, but she still got irritated when people simply gawped at her. Surely one glance was enough for them to ascertain that yes, she was a shapely girl, and then move on. In most cases it was, particularly if she glared at the person in question. But not with this guy. She was sure he was trying to be subtle, because he often averted his gaze as she trained hers on him. But even if he’d looked away, she could tell by the position of his head and body that he’d been peeking at her. Again.
Now, on day seven, she was almost at boiling point. What the hell was his problem? Had no one ever told him it was rude to stare? She was on the verge of doing just that.
Eating her lunch was an unpleasant task, knowing she was being observed. If she hadn’t been so damn hungry, she’d have left it. But she’d been running late that morning and had committed that mortal sin—missing breakfast. So her chicken salad—with no dressing—was absolutely necessary to avoid making herself feel ill, or passing out, so she devoured every last morsel. She ate faster than she normally would, not because she was being greedy, but because the sooner she finished eating, the sooner she’d stop feeling so damn self-conscious about the guy across the room watching her.
She decided to give him one last chance. When she’d finished her lunch, she’d drink her carton of apple juice, then sit for a few seconds, doing nothing. If he continued to look at her, she was going to stomp over there and give him what for. If he didn’t, then she’d carry on with life and do her best to forget about him and his rudeness.
Deep down, she knew she was going to have to go over and say something to him. After seven days, he wasn’t going to suddenly amend his habits. She was just being a bit of a wimp, really, hoping to find some way of getting out of confrontation, because she didn’t like it, not one bit, and it was absolutely a last resort. Unfortunately, she couldn’t think of a single other way of stopping him from doing it. Perhaps she could put up a sign in front of her saying “Please stop staring at me.” But if he couldn’t take the hint when she’d glared at him, he wouldn’t take any notice of a piece of paper.
Several minutes later, her salad was gone and she moved onto her drink. With a sinking feeling in her gut, she saw he was just as interested in her now as he had been when she’d been eating. Damn, confrontation it was then.
Draining the carton, she gathered her plate, cutlery and other rubbish onto her tray, stood up and slid it onto the rack nearest her. Then she returned to her table, grabbed her bag, pulled in a deep breath through her nostrils and marched over to the Peeping Tom. She slid out the chair opposite him and sat down on it.

About the book:

Three sexy Sapphic tales from the pen of Lucy Felthouse:

No Boys Allowed

When Leigh goes to meet with some potential housemates in a sought-after part of London, all she's interested in is making a good impression. The last thing she's expecting is to find out that one of the girls is a lesbian, like her. Kacey's not home yet, but when she arrives, Leigh knows one thing for sure: she's smitten. But will her feelings be reciprocated?

Something in Common

Nerd and amateur photographer Justine is partaking of one of her favourite pastimes—visiting a historical site—when she bumps into Amber. It turns out they're both equally enthusiastic about exploring stately homes, abbeys, stone circles and the like—and their surprise at meeting someone with similar interests leads them on another adventure together, which doesn't end at the site.

Little Miss Goody Two Shoes

Izzy and her girlfriend are visiting a beautiful stately home in the British countryside. Taking a stroll around the garden, Izzy's shocked to see a statue of a female—totally naked. Her girlfriend, astounded that Izzy is such a prude and a Little Miss Goody Two Shoes, proceeds to show her just what fun can be had in a country garden with a statue to hide them from prying eyes.

Delilah's Diary #1: A Sexy Journey - Jasinda Wilder

About the book:

I've always been a good girl. I grew up in a small town, dated my high school sweetheart all the way through college, and married him. I even waited until our wedding night for my first time. Yeah, that kind of good girl. Finding my husband in bed with the church secretary came as quite a shock, needless to say. Finding out he'd slept with just about every female in town was an even bigger shock.

Discovering those dirty little secrets is what sent me on a journey that I will never forget.

About the book:

Ryan Anderson had expected retaliation in some form. A guy just didn't cross a woman with a sword, especially if that woman was Molly Shanahan, 2016 Olympic women's fencing hopeful. She'd been born with the glint of a gold medal in her eye. She might be the girl of his dreams, if he can get past her guard.
