Book Review:

Heart-throbbing, gasping and deliciously tempting is how I'd describe this authors writing! Abbi Glines is becoming one of my favourite authors to read. Her books are interesting and utterly addictive. They're perfect for anyone who loves reading New Adult!

I loved the relationship between Beau, Sawyer and Ashton! Especially Beau... I mean no one can resist a bad by.. can they? Ashton and Beau's relationship is enticing and mind capturing to read!

You know from the start they're made for each other. Beau has always been in love with Ashton and I'm so glad they worked everything out.. but.. I don't know if Ashton ever told Beau she loved him to his face... Beau has told her! U can't wait to start The Vincent Brothers and to see what happens between Sawyer and Lana!

The Vincent Boys is filled with twists and turns and a whole lot more this is one book you'll be unable to put down and one book you won't want to! I Love these characters!

Book Review:

I thoroughly enjoyed reading Amanda and Prestons story.. possibly even more than Marcus and Willows! It was exciting, up-beat and kept me interested to the very end! Just for Now made me cry, laugh, and then repeat that from start to finish. It was so good to catch up with other characters as well! I love this series and Abbi Glines writing is getting really addictive! I recommend this authors writing.

About the book: (Taken from Amazon.co.uk)

Set in the steamy coastal Alabama town of Sea Breeze, an interconnected group of older teens hook up, break up ...and much, much more. Marcus Hardy had hoped to enjoy a year away at college while he put the summer he'd rather forget behind him. But instead, he's jerked right back his home town of Sea Breeze due to a family crisis. The only bright spot to returning is the hot redhead who sleeps over at his place several times a week. There's just one thing though - she's sleeping in bed with his new roommate, Cage York. Willow "Low" Foster needs a place to live. Running to her best friend Cage's apartment every time her sister kicks her out isn't exactly a long term solution. But Cage has a new roommate and suddenly sleeping over at his apartment isn't such a bad thing. Not when she gets to see those sexy green eyes of Marcus's twinkle when he smiles at her like he wants her there. There's one problem though, Cage is under the disillusion that when he's through sowing his wild oats, he's going to marry Low - an assumption Marcus intends to change. But when his carefully laid plans come crashing down with a revelation he never expected, Marcus will have to choose between Low or his family. Because once the truth comes out ...there's no other choice.

Book Review:

Ahh! I love love love this book! It's one of the best books I've read this year!

Cage and Low have a relationship no one will ever understand and nothing can ever break them! He's like her family but I love Marcus! He's sweet, nice, hot, kind and lovely! Plus him and Low are made for each other!

I was absolutely addicted to reading their story,  how they got past their problems and be together. It was obvious from the start how the characters were connected but it was still so interesting to read the story unravel. It was especially good to read about their background stories and their pasts. Low and Marcus are two characters which are going to stay with me! This book especially is going to stay with me. I'm definitely buying more sea-breeze novels! It's beyond words how much I loved this authors writing!

"I took a deep breath and exhaled it slowly before turning around. It was Lucas who stood there. His gaze was penetrating, not wavering for a moment, and my pulse hammered under his silent scrutiny.

I couldn't remember the last time I'd been so full of pure, unqualified desire."

Lucas is the stranger who saved Jacqueline from an attack by a fellow student - she'd never noticed him before then, and now he's everywhere.

But can Jacqueline trust him - or will the secrets he's hiding come between them?

Book Review:

This is THE New Adult novel for me! It's everything that you could ever imagine and so much more for a New adult book! This book will stay with me for a very long time. The whole concept of the story captured my mind from the very first page which will keep you wanting to read more and more!

Easy is a story about trust, loyalty, love, loss and how the truth really can set you free!

Lucas and Jacqueline are made for each other and I loved reading their story through every up and down moment, especially about Landon/Lucas... and her not knowing! I'm absolutely speechless and lost for words on how truly breath-taking this book was! It's the best New Adult book I've read!  I'm so hoping the author has wrote more New Adult as more of this authors writing is definitely going on my TBR list!

I'll never be able to get over the hidden story and meaning behind this novel.. it's made me cry, laugh and smile at the same time! I really recommend this story to everyone.

The last thing Dawson Black expected was Bethany Williams. As a Luxen, an alien life form on Earth, human girls are…well, fun. But since the Luxen have to keep their true identities a secret, falling for one would be insane. Dangerous. Tempting. Undeniable.

Bethany can’t deny the immediate connection between her and Dawson. And even though boys aren’t a complication she wants, she can’t stay away from him. Still, whenever they lock eyes, she’s drawn in. Captivated. Lured. Loved.

Dawson is keeping a secret that will change her existence…and put her life in jeopardy. But even he can’t stop risking everything for one human girl. Or from a fate that is as unavoidable as love itself.

Book Review:

Even though I most likely should have read this first before diving straight into the series I'm kind of glad I didn't. If I had I don't believe I would have been able to fall in love with Daemon and Katy as much.

I'm so happy to have read Dawson and Beth's story as I like them so much and it was nice to see things from their perspectives and how they were kidnapped and there whole bond and connection! I'm glad they are free now!

I can't help thinking there's a connection between Katy and Beth... I have no idea why. Maybe because they were both new or something but I feel like there's something right there on the pages to see... Maybe my brain is working over time!

I really can't stress enough how much you should read this series! It's absolutely amazing especially as Daemon said he'd never let a human get in the way again.. Haha made me laugh so much! I <3 these books! They are utterly obsessively addictive! :)

After the successful but disastrous raid on Mount Weather, he’s facing the impossible. Katy is gone. Taken. Everything becomes about finding her. Taking out anyone who stands in his way? Done. Burning down the whole world to save her? Gladly. Exposing his alien race to the world? With pleasure.

All Katy can do is survive.

Surrounded by enemies, the only way she can come out of this is to adapt. After all, there are sides of Daedalus that don’t seem entirely crazy, but the group’s goals are frightening and the truths they speak even more disturbing. Who are the real bad guys? Daedalus? Mankind? Or the Luxen?

Together, they can face anything. But the most dangerous foe has been there all along, and when the truths are exposed and the lies come crumbling down, which side will Daemon and Katy be standing on? And will they even be together?

Book Review:

OMG! Really? Jennifer Armentrout! ANOTHER CLIFFHANGER? Oh my gods! I can sue under torture regulations right? I mean... this isn'y fair! It can't be! It shouldn't be allowed.. I've to wait a year not just for the 5th book.. but the final book! Okay this is definitely not on.. :( I absolutely love the Lux series and cannot wait to read the one but :'(

I've never anyting like this before! Addictive, thrilling, exciting, alien-fied hotness and the most amazing upon amazing love story! :) I read the whole series conseqitively one after the other and that's never happened before with a series! Normally I need a break in between.

This book contained so much I can't even wrap my ahead around everything.. right first there is..   Ash and Andrew and even Paris are dead! It's shocking! Even though we didn't get to see much of Paris is still sucks!  Plus I knew it! ? I KNEW IT! Beth has a bun in her oven cooking something alien that is so not gonna go down well!

I'm super hoping archer and Dee get closer.. and that neither of them die! I have a feeling there will be a death in the next book I really hope not but there's this feeling that it;s gonna happen! I couldn't stand for any of them to die.. Especially Daemon and Kat! Omg that thought doesn't even bare thinking about! Then Beth and Dawson... she's pregnant and connected to Dawson or are they? BUT NO! PLEASE NO! Katy and Daemon are the main characters so they can't die right? No.. they won't die! :)

Most important which side will they choose? Katy asked herself if they'd choose their side or hers? But is she's not human hasn't she already picked a side? I have a feeling these new alien people don't want a war. I think they want to help.. Well I darn well hope!

Please please please read this series! It will be the best thing you ever do with your life! Trust me! Now time to read Shadows woohoo! But still..  a year long wait! A year? A fricking year? What do I do in a year? (Perhaps start the covenant series? ;))

Have you read this series? Or any other books by the author? Let me know which are yours faves!

No one is like Daemon Black.

When he set out to prove his feelings for me, he wasn’t fooling around. Doubting him isn’t something I’ll do again, and now that we’ve made it through the rough patches, well... There’s a lot of spontaneous combustion going on.

But even he can’t protect his family from the danger of trying to free those they love.

After everything, I’m no longer the same Katy. I’m different... And I’m not sure what that will mean in the end. When each step we take in discovering the truth puts us in the path of the secret organization responsible for torturing and testing hybrids, the more I realize there is no end to what I’m capable of. The death of someone close still lingers, help comes from the most unlikely source, and friends will become the deadliest of enemies, but we won’t turn back. Even if the outcome will shatter our worlds forever.

Together we’re stronger... and they know it.

Book Review:

Okay so I'm literally in tears writing this review! How just how could the author do this? I think my heart is literally crumbling! It's AWFUL!

I don't know if I'm more upset about Daemon or Kat. Most likely Kat! It changed them being in that envirement so will she ever be the same again? Oh gods I hope so and omg fuckwit Blake! I'm really wishing he died! Ugh he is an ass! Never hated a character so much before. I really don't get him.. he set them up but yet snuck into Katys room and looked after her! Daemon said he wouldn't get a third chance so time to go Luxen on his ass! :D

I'm happy Dawson and Beth are okay but.. Daemon!? A whole ocean of tears has just opened and he finally told Kat he loved her! Way to go Daemon! Wait till she's stuck surrounded by Arum... you twit! Omg and Simon Cutters? I'm so miffed about him!

This series is really ADDICTIVE and I'm so hoping there is book 4 out! I need, crave, want and love this authors writing! It's blimming amaze balls!

I never do this but I have to share my favourite quotes from the book..

One is from Daemon: "Simmer down, Kitten before I have to get you a ball of yarn to play with.! I LOVE IT! :D

and another one... "If wishes were fishes, we'd all throw nets" I sort of like it..

Oh yeah and finally what was it Jennifer Armentrout wrote in Opal.. "sucked more than waiting a year for the next book in a beloved series, and sucked more than a brutal cliffhanger ending?" As soon as I read that I was like NOOOOOO!!! Omg NO! It feels like I'm having an out of body experience.. I NEED to look for book 4! I NEED IT! If you can read then you need to read this series.. simple as that! :D

Have you read this series? It's the best thing ever to brace this earth so maybe you should! :)

I thought these kinds of stories only happened amongst the pages of Mills & Boon but.. seems I was wrong! This is such an exciting read that will keep you hooked till the very end. I love this book and everything it contains right from the very start.

The start of the book gets you gripped with the author writing a bit of when they were young! It made the book that bit more fantastic. I am so hyped to read Maggies and Michaels story!

About the Book: (Taken from Goodreads.com)

Just how far will one woman go to fulfil her fantasies?

I prefer to chase the news, not be the news. But when the delectable Liuz, with his uncannily accurate perception of my secret desires weaved its way into my life, it wasn’t long before I was in way too deep, submerged and intoxicated with a passion I was afraid was more than I could handle.

Or was it? Because although my heart was overwhelmed with feelings I had no resistance against, and while my deceitful body was consumed by a burning passion, I still had a plan. A plan I prayed would keep me afloat as I was pushed to the very edge of my limits, while the journey got tougher than even my wildest flights of fantasy could have imagined.

I claimed him and I felt that he was rightfully mine. My heart simply couldn’t beat without a permanent connection between our hearts, minds and bodies. Losing was not an option, not when my sanity depended on winning him.

Because I would, quite literally, do anything for him.

Book Review:

Anything for Him is gripping hot which leaves you with a thrill of excitement! In a twisted turn of events which keeps you wanting to read more and more which leaves you staying up the whole night to see how it ends I'd say Anything for Him would have the same effect on anyone!

I absolutely without a doubt would recommend this book to anyone. It's one of the best erotic books I've read this year so far! :)

About the book: (Taken from Goodreads.com)

Mackenzie “Max” Miller has a problem. Her parents have arrived in town for a surprise visit, and if they see her dyed hair, tattoos, and piercings, they just might disown her. Even worse, they’re expecting to meet a nice, wholesome boyfriend, not a guy named Mace who has a neck tattoo and plays in a band. All her lies are about to come crashing down around her, but then she meets Cade.

Cade moved to Philadelphia to act and to leave his problems behind in Texas. So far though, he’s kept the problems and had very little opportunity to take the stage. When Max approaches him in a coffee shop with a crazy request to pretend to be her boyfriend, he agrees to play the part. But when Cade plays the role a little too well, they’re forced to keep the ruse going. And the more they fake the relationship, the more real it begins to feel.

Book Review:

I was unsure about reading this although that might be because I loved Bliss and Garricks story so much! BUT I was dead wrong, Faking it is such a good book and just as good as Losing It & Keeping Her.

The characters are fantastic and I definitely can't wait to read more from the author! :)

Book Review:

A short but yet fantastic read from Cora Carmack! I LOVE reading about Bliss and Garrick! WE NEED MORE! It was amazing diving back into their world and catching up with them!

Losing It was an amazing novel so this was something I was super exciting about reading! But again.. WE NEED MORE BLISS AND GARRICK! :D

Have you read Losing It? Or any other books by the author?

I admit.. I HAVE a problem.. with Jennifer L. Armentrout!

They say the first step of receiving and accepting help is to admit yourself you actually have a problem. So I'm taking it upon myself to admit now I have a problem and I hope everyone accepts me as it is really quite hard to speak about! I have a real crazy, obsessional, maddening, fan girl problem with.. Jennifer L. Armentrout and her writing..

Signs of this problem you may ask?
  • stomping your foot in the middle of a shop because YOUR OWN SISTER wouldn't listen to how truly amazing Jennifer L. Armentrout is! ('cause she was to busy looking at a One Direction thing UGH hello?)
  • Yelling at your father because he didn't have a clue what a LUXEN was! Like say wha?
  • having a near panic attack with tears because Amazon ran out of Half-Blood in paperback! (WTH??)
  • Not going to sleep in two days because YOU HAVE to stay up and read all the LUX series..
  • Again the following week missing sleep because your too busy reading the Covenant series *le sigh*
  • Crying because you have to wait ONE FRICKING YEAR for the final book in the LUX series.. (Can I sue the author that this is borderline torture?)
  • Having to wait FIVE FRICKING DAYS for the final book in the Covenant series..
  • Putting on about a million stone because you're to upset with waiting and eating buckets of ice-cream while watching Bridget Jones..
  • Not venturing outside of your house for one week because duh reading is more important..
  • Squealing the house down because your sister tells you she has a surprise planned and it's connected to the amazing author I am talking about.. (I quite literally squealed the house down and kept banging my hands like a banshee in excitement)
  • starting to say *gods* instead of your usual word.. *god*
  • writing a blog post describing how obsessed with you are with the authors writing..
I admit I may have a slight problem.. but I'm NOT crazy! Repeat NOT CRAZY!! So I am asking does anyone else out there have the same problem and how do you help yourself? I don't think it's fair that Jennifer L. Armentrout writes such obsessional, addictive, page turning, amazing, hot alien/sentinel characters, perfect love stories, happy tear worthy moments, pouring your heart out as well moments, fantastic scenes, phenoma-bubble stories! Like how does this one woman actually come up with this stuff? Seriously? Maybe I should rein it in a bit now.. eh?

I don't actually wanna force her into getting a restraining order.. so I will tone it down and plead desperately plead! I NEED HELP! Because I can't bare to be away from her books for any amount of time. Maybe I shouldn't post this.. I know Jennifer L. Armentrout will never read this but what if she ever saw this and actually does think I'm nuts oh gods no! I don't want her ever thinking I'm bat shit crazi-fied! *takes deep breaths* as if she'll ever see this! Okay.. heart back to normal pace... :) She will never ever ever see this! (The knowledge of that literally momentarily calms me!) Again I repeat.. I AM NOT CRAZY! ;)

So if you are out there right now and face the same everyday problem! Please get in touch and share your coping mechanisms.. we could help each other? Usually I well read another one of her books.. but it's getting a bit drastic as to where I don't leave my house BECAUSE (highlight the following!) -  ALEX HAS JUST AWAKENED AND IS CONNECTED TO SETH... OH GODS NO! POOR AIDEN! -

I need to go continue reading NOW!

Toodles! :) x x
