About the book:
Photographer CJ Parker is a woman who has literally not gone outside for the past six months. She’s been hiding from the world, and from life, ever since an unimaginable tragedy forced her into seclusion.
On the one day where she decides to finally venture outside, she meets the mysterious billionaire, Asher Sloane. Dark-headed, magnetic, and gorgeous, Asher drips sex and animal magnetism. He draws CJ out of her shell and into the world, while showing her things that she never knew existed.
What CJ doesn’t know is that Asher has a dangerous past. Behind his beautiful blue eyes and confident demeanor lies dark secrets that, if they are brought to light, could mean the end of CJ and Asher’s relationship.
Will the exposure of Asher’s past destroy them?
Warning: This book has plenty of hot and steamy sex scenes featuring an alpha male who knows what he wants and knows exactly how to get it.

Interview:
1, Can you tell us one thing about yourself we can't find online?
I’m a
binge-watcher. A few months ago, I watched every single episode of Sex and
the City back to back to back. Now I’m working on Mad Men. I love me
some Netflix, and House of Cards is probably next.
2, Do you recall how your interest in writing originated?
I remember when I was a little girl, I used to write up stories that
featured Han Solo, because I was absolutely obsessed with him. I guess I was
creating fan fiction before it was cool! I was always writing, it seemed,
whether it was short stories and poems for creative writing classes or legal
briefs for my previous life as a lawyer. I actually found that I enjoyed
writing legal briefs and I was published in Law Review when I was in law
school. And then, I don’t know, I sat down to start writing a novel, and Beautiful
Illusions was the result. I had no idea how it would be received, and, to
be honest, when I wrote the novel I didn’t know the first thing about
self-publishing. I only knew that I found my calling, and I haven’t stopped
writing since then!
3, Can you sum up your writing journey so far in 5 words?
Difficult yet fun. That’s only three words, sorry about that! :)
4, Tell us why we should read Exposure in 140 characters or less?
Because it features a smoking hot billionaire and a feisty, yet
damaged, heroine. I like their chemistry together - they’re good for each
other, yet that’s not always apparent. And they’re both pretty sarcastic, so
that makes for some good scenes!
5, What's your favourite food to snack on when writing?
Potato chips! That’s my favorite snack, period, but I have to limit
myself because I love them way too much. Especially Kettle Chips. Yum.
6, If you could have one book world exist to live in, where would you
choose and why?
Narnia. I loved all of those books as a kid, and I really loved all the
creatures. CS Lewis did a great job creating that world, and I could imagine
living in it.
7, Do you have any advice for aspiring authors?
Never give up, and
try self-publishing. If you get some advice from other aspiring authors, such
as on KBoards or something of the sort, you can learn enough to get your work
off the ground. There’s no need to try to publish with a traditional publisher
anymore. I love the freedom of doing everything for myself!
8, Is there anything you'd like to say to readers?
I love all my
readers, and I want to thank each and every one of you who have supported me!
