Forgotten Friday: Q&A with Lucy Felthouse

Over the 5 years I've been blogging I have had pretty epic (to me) blog posts on A Bookish Redhead so this is a chance to take a glance over and read some of the forgotten posts from the archives. P.S It's going to be every Friday (but not EVERY Friday)

Todays Forgetten Friday is an author Q&A with one of favourite authors Lucy Felthouse originally published 2015.

Can you catch up on your recent bookish news?

Sure – my most recent release is my M/M erotic romance novella, Native Tongue, which is the follow-up to Desert Heat. Here’s the blurb:

They may be back on British soil, but the battle isn’t over.
When Captain Hugh Wilkes fell for his Afghan interpreter, Rustam Balkhi, he always knew things would never be easy. After months of complete secrecy, their return to England should have spelt an end to the sneaking around and the insane risks. But it seems there are many obstacles for them to overcome before they can truly be happy together. Can they get past those obstacles, or is this one battle too many for their fledgling relationship?

I’ve also just submitted my third solo novel for consideration, so have my fingers and toes crossed that it’s accepted!

Are you currently working on anything atm? Can you give us a sneak peak?

Not at the moment! I only submitted my novel a couple of days ago, and am currently getting ready to go away on holiday for a week, so I won’t be working on anything new until I’m back. Next up are a couple of F/F short stories which I’m hoping will be accepted for an anthology.

What are you currently reading? Are you enjoying it?

I’m currently reading Chasing Shade by Sommer Marsden and enjoying it very much. I’m loving the characters and their storyline, not to mention the scorching heat between them! I look forward to finding out what happens next. A Sommer Marsden book never disappoints.

Are there there any new books you're looking forward to reading this summer?

Yes! As soon as I’m finished with Sommer’s book, I’ll be reading Living the Dream by Celia J Anderson. She’s a friend of mine as well as a fab contemporary romance author. I loved her previous two novels and am excited to get my teeth into this one!

Tell us 5 of your books which we should bring with us on our hols this year and why?

Stately Pleasures – because it was my first novel and it holds a special place in my heart
Pack of Lies – because it was a total labour of love and I adore that book
Native Tongue – because it’s my latest release
Desert Heat – because you really need to read it before Native Tongue
City Nights: One Night in Paris – because it’s a great read for a holiday

Summer Favourites:

Ice-Cream Flavour: butterscotch
Holiday Destination: Paris
Seaside Town: Hunstanton, Norfolk
Flower: Don’t mind – anything pretty
Colour: Purple

What do you think of the Forgetten Friday? Have you read any of the authors books?
