Can you tell us a bit about yourself?Well I'm a 27 year old (actually 28 next month - eep) who loves to read (duh!). I got married in 2009 and we have a little devil named Alek who likes to keep me busy. I live in Canada - the maritimes. I have a degree in Finance but since the timing was right, I took an extra year off to be with my lil one since I don't plan on having any more. :)

Can you tell us a bit about your blog?
I read books, I like to either complain or rave about said books; you can find all of this on my blog! I also do cover reveals and I love being part of blog tours which brings amazing authors over to visit.

How and Why did you start blogging?I was reviewing on some buggy Facebook book app for about a year, then on Goodreads for 9 months when I started looking into blogging. I noticed it was a great way to get more inside the book scene; Meeting authors, making other book loving friends, and really getting in the know about new releases etc. I didn't really know what blogging entailed but it's been great learning. Lucky for me, my hubby's a programmer so anything fancy up on my blog I have to give credit to him. It's hard work, much harder than I expected (like everyone else) but I love every thing about it. I've already made amazing friends and just that has been worth it!

How long have you been blogging for?It was September 9th, 2011 when I finally took the plunge. So almost 5 months.

Can you sum up your blogging experience so far in 5 words?Hell of a good time!

What was your favourite book as a child and why? When I was a kid I'd really pick up anything and everything from the library. My favourites were always RL Stine books.

Do you judge a book by it's cover?Oof I'm a total cover whore. I'll still read a book if the cover is ugly, but I have read books based on the cover alone. Some without even reading the blurb - I know it's shameful! O_O

If you could have dinner with 2 characters from any books who would they be and why?Charley Davidson from the Darynda Jones series by the same name. She is Hilarious! I would have a blast conversing with that woman!
Jordan from Catching Jordan because she is just a great, fun person. She's so down to earth and cares about things other than guys and hair.

Which fictional hottie do you wish was real?Eric Northman, and if you've read the books, there's no need to explain why!

Is there an author whose books you would recommend that have made an impact on you?Stephenie Meyer and JK Rowling definitely impacted me by opening me up to a lot more genres. But who hasn't read their books yet? So I'd probably recommend Mike Mullin for his book Ashfall which is a real eye opener, especially that it's not that far fetched and sends a big message on humanity.

What are your favourite 3 books of 2011?
-Divergent by Veronica Roth
-Catching Jordan by Miranda Kenneally
-Ashfall by Mike Mullin

If you could have any book made into a movie what would it be?-Most I would pick have already been or are in the making. But the one I'd be most excited to see is Divergent. It could be pretty kick ass!
Flash Questions!
Genre: Ya - dystopian
Mythical Creature: Necromancer
Colour: Red
Ice-Cream Flavour: Neapolitan - what? It's a classic!
Classic or Fairytale book: Fairytale
Team Edward or Jacob? Edward in the book, Jacob in the movie.

I'd like to thank Giselle massively for taking the time out and answering some questions. I know we all really appreciate it. :) THANK YOU!!

  1. Yay thanks for featuring me Kerry-Ann! I'll spread the word! :)

    1. Your so welcome :)Ohh that's awesome :) I'm so happy you participated! :) Thanks :) xx

  2. Great interview!! I love getting to know my blogger friends better!! Isn't Divergent going to be a movie? It was optioned or something I thought. Either way that would definitely be a movie I want to see! Such a great book. (One of my faves of 2011 too)

    1. I'm pretty sure it was too. Pretty much any book I'd want to see as a movie has been auctioned or already released on film.

    2. Thanks Amy :) Ohh I'm so glad! I agree it's nice to get to know bloggers. :) xx

  3. Haha, I'm a cover whore too! And Eric Northman rocks my world...I love him! And that's what I've always said about Edward and Jacob. I could have cared less about Jacob in the books, but the movies are a different story. Great interview :-)

    1. Thanks for commenting Jackie :) Ohh I love Eric Northman too. :) Thanks :) xx

    2. Kerry-Ann, I love your blog. Don't know how I wasn't following you before!

    1. Aww thanks Katie you rock! >.<

    2. I agree with you on that, Giselle is great :) Your so welcome :) Thanks for commenting :) xx

  5. Loved this interview! I try not to be swayed by covers- but it happens all the time. Some covers just suck me in and make me want to read the book. I have also been inspired by JK Rowling. Edward was my fav in the books, too. I will have to check out your blog!
