Can you tell us a bit about yourself?
I am a quintessential Lahori (Pakistani) Girl, married to an Indian, living in UK for some years now. I have a penchant for travelling, reading, writing (not in that order!) and singing (by that, I mean, bathroom singing!). I am a couch potato and a big foodie! I love cats but don’t own one presently. Want to hear more? LOL!

Can you tell us a bit about your blog?
Okay, my blog reflects my style of writing through my honest reviews on books, movies, music, travel, celebs etc. I love to interview authors and do some exciting fun giveaways for my readers. You will also find some great articles on different aspects of writing and publishing, contributed by published authors. Besides, I do some blogging tips off and on, random polls, discussion topics, special posts and whatever creative comes into my mind. Right now, I have valentine day special giveaways and reviews lined up, so keep visiting my blog. The blog basically celebrates the interaction between authors and readers.

Why did you start blogging?
Because I am a chatterbox with an opinion on almost everything that goes through my radar and compels me to write a review. What better than a blog where you find like-minded community of readers who love to read and comment on your views and recommendations! I am so grateful to my enthusiastic readers who take out time to comment regularly on my blog posts. They are the reason that keeps me motivated to write more quality posts.

Right now, I am close to 500 followers and I am so excited! Fingers crossed! ( To appreciate my readers, I am planning lots of giveaways on my blog, please visit my current Valentine’s Day Special Giveaway by (Clicking Here) I am also preparing Valentines Special reviews of books and movies, so keep reading my blog!

Can you sum up your blogging experience so far in 5 words?
Five words are too many! :P Just kidding! Those would be:
Exhilarating, fun, creative, interactive, time-consuming

What was your favourite book as a child and why?
It has to be “Animal Farm” by George Orwell. It has so many animals and what kid does not love a book that has “animal” and “farm” in it and the characters are just so interesting even on the superficial level. When I was a kid, I enjoyed it for its apparent value though when I grew up and read it again, I loved its underlying meaning. It is still one of my favourite books because of its brilliant portrayal of politics in the form of a satire. An ultimate classic!

Do you judge a book by it's cover?
I do not judge a book “solely” by its cover. That being said, cover is the first thing that catches my fancy, followed by plot and then the content inside. What matters most is the quality of the written word but good packaging comes as a bonus. That is why, when I review a book, I also analyse the cover.

Is there an author whose books you would recommend that have made an impact on you?
I don’t know how many people enjoy classic literature these days, but I have always loved reading William Wordsworth’s books. He is one of the most influential poet of the Romantic Age of English Literature. His thoughts on Nature, love, life, spirituality have influenced me greatly and shaped many of my life-long concepts. I would recommend his book, “Lyrical ballads, with a few other poems (1798)” which includes my favourite, (Click Here) "Tintern Abbey (poem)" Lines Composed A Few Miles above Tintern Abbey ".

What are your favourite 3 books of 2011?
Tough question! There are so many, it is difficult to pick just three. Among contemporary fiction, “A Tiny Bit Marvellous” by Dawn French HYPERLINK  (my review here) . There was a great romantic comedy with mystery elements I read, by a debut Indie author called “Treasure Me (read my review here). Then there is a travel narrative which I loved to bits (also by a debut Indie author). It is a book on Italy called “Chique Secrets of Dolce Vita” which of course I also reviewed on my blog, here.

If you could have any book made into a movie what would it be?
Okay, this may sound crazy but I would love to see the characters of “A Tiny Bit Marvellous” made into an animated movie! It would be a challenge for directors how they portray teenage rebel Dora and gay Oscar with 3D graphics. I know, crazy but that’s my answer! LOL!
