The lovers are faced with forced separation, great distances and others who try to sabotage their relationship as both of them work to build the shared future they both dream of. When their lives begin to finally gel, Julia is offered a promotion that will jettison her career to new heights. Ryan is left angry and bereft as it will only postpone their reunion yet again. Will she choose the chance of a lifetime or the love of her life?
The Future of Our Past is the first book in The Remembrance Trilogy, a truly transcendent love story of a powerful and passionate connection, like we all dream of.

I've been trying to put writing my review off as I really didn't want to write it! I hate the thought of writing this review although if you continue reading then you may understand why....  I really don't want to share this novel with ANYONE right now! It's so beautiful and precious. It's just absolutely amazing.

This has been the best book I've ever read and I will compare every book I read to it. Forever. The characters were so brilliantly written I couldn't help but fall in love with them and as I turned the last page a little tiny piece of my heart broke.

Although there's a book 2.... so it's all good! :)

Ryan and Julia have been best friends for years and totally in love for years, too scared to tell each other how they really feel Julia and Ryan keep their emotions locked away and date other people hoping to wash each other out of their systems but.... anyone knows that true love isn't easy to forget about.

With a 3000 mile distance between the two they battle on how they'll survive their newly formed relationship but one things for sure love is the strongest thing anyone can ever feel.

Kahlen Aymes knows how to keep her readers in suspense and I cannot literally wait for the sequel I won't be able to cope until I get my hands on book two!

Ryan and Julia are two characters which amaze me through this whole novel they are inspiring, loving and generous people and Julia is a character women should aspire to be like.

This novel is beautiful with a shocking twist.... one which will open your mind where you have to put all your belief in love in that everything will work out for the best!
