About the book:

Vampire bachelor Samson can't get it up anymore. Not even his shrink can help him. That changes when the lovely mortal auditor Delilah tumbles into his arms after a seemingly random attack. Suddenly there's nothing wrong with his hydraulics - that is, as long as Delilah is the woman in his arms.

His scruples about taking Delilah to bed vanish when his shrink suggests it's the only way to cure his problem. Thinking all he needs is one night with her, Samson indulges in a night of pleasure and passion.

However, another attack on Delilah and a dead body later, and Samson has his hands full: not only with trying to hide the fact he's a vampire, but also with finding out what secrets Delilah harbors for somebody to want her harm.
Samson's Lovely Mortal is an intriguing, breath-taking, fantastic hot read! First in The Scanguards Vampires Series by the amazing romance author Tina Folsom.
Oh my Gawd!!
I can't get over how brilliant and mind capturing Samson's Lovely Mortal was. It's spectacular!! From the very first page Tina had me gripping onto the book wanting to read and find out more. (Literally Gripping) Reading all through the night I just couldn't get enough of it and I love when I get a book like that.
Samson is a HOT, strong, intriguing character one which I simply can't get enough of. He's so honest and caring that he'd do anything for the ones he loves. His bad-guy streak is super sexy which just makes him more appealing, plus the minor fact that Samson's a Vampire . . . Can characters even get any better??
Delilah is an extraordinary character. She's strong minded, stubborn, and truly fascinating. Just what any romance book needs a strong female lead and Delilah fit the role perfectly! I thoroughly enjoyed reading about her.
Together from the very start it's immediately noticeable to see the sparks fly between Samson and Delilah even when she lands on his door step and he mistakes her as the stripper his good friend Ricky got him for a birthday present hoping it will get him up in the bedroom department. Thinking the whole damsel in distress routine is part of what she's getting paid for Samson goes along with it thinking Delilah is playing hard to get when she keeps trying to push him away.
Although for Samson bad goes to worse when his pals show up with the Vampire stripper and all that's left for him to do is apologise although Delilah learns that not even she has the restraint to stay away from him after she so openly let Samson kiss her.
The chemistry between them is so obvious when they're together and you can see their feelings for one another slowly come to the surface. They have some very hot passionate sex in the book which makes the physical side to their relationship quite easy. The emotional side of their relationship on the other hand will just take that little more work as Samson and Delilah are as stubborn as each other who continuously try to convince themselves through the book that their feelings growing for one another is simply the immediate attraction. I however don't agree.
Tina has not only wrote these two amazing characters which Samson's Lovely Mortal is about but she has also wrote other strong characters in the book which make themselves known to you in just two or three pages.
Amuary, Ricky, Thomas, and Carl are four characters which we read about and find out more about each one in Samson's Lovely Mortal. They all have their own little bit that play to me a massive bit in the story to make it all that more interesting. I enjoyed reading from their point of views just as much I did from Samson and Delilah's.
Brother and Sister duo Milo and Ilona are two characters which I couldn't care less about! I was exceptionally glad when Amaury plunged the stake in Ilona's heart and she turned to dust! As Milo's ex-lover Thomas decided the fate of Milo and got off to me Scott free just to never return to San Fransisco because Thomas couldn't kill him.
Samson's Lovely Mortal made me laugh, cry, smile, and most importantly enjoy reading about real vampires again! This is the best book I've ever read as it had everything I crave in a book. The Scangaurds Vampires Series is definitely on top as my favourite series yet!
Tina Folsom is a truly magnificent author one whose books I just have to read more of. Everyone just has to read Samson's Lovely Mortal it's a must.
