10 Books On My TBR I’m Avoiding Reading and Why

Here is my list of 10 Books On My TBR I'm Avoiding Reading and Why (100% Honesty ahead)

- The first 5 on my list all show a recurring theme - they are now Netflix Films or Series and that's why I'm avoiding them! I've loved, cried and laughed with the shows that I'm a little worried I won't enjoy the books! Shocking because it's normally the other way around.

- The Mister? Well! It's EL James! We all know that name (don't pretend ya don't) Fifty Shades of Grey.. can The Mister stand up and face the test to show it's the same amount of hype for me? I'm nervous to take a chance on it!

- Potter.. Potter.. Potter... I've never read the books but I am a massive HP fan! I somolumly swear I am up to no good is my tagline for just about everything and the movies! Hello? How many times can we rewatch them on ITV2 weekly and still look forward to the next? Basically I'm worried I'll not be able to find a stride with them and tell my sister they're pretty cr*p in which case she'll cut my head off in time for little outside decor this Halloween!

- Marked & Need were newish books around when I first started blogging and I wanted to read them so much and never got round to it, my tastes have changed, I'm no longer a 17 year old girl I'm a 26 year old and I'm a little on the fence about whether to give them a go since it's been so long!

- Dearly Departed (don't judge it by this cover unless you love this cover then ignore me) I have an ARC of this book which I read eons ago and want to reread because the cover I have is simply beautiful!

Well there's my list of 10 Books I'm Avoiding! What's on yours? Leave a link in the comments section below if you're taking part so I can check out your list.

  1. I'm fascinated by the thought of a Potter fan who has never read the books. Do you think that will ever change?

    My TTT.

  2. I agree that sometimes when you watch a movie or series (and love it) before you read a book it can make it hard to read the book. It would be sad if it didn't live up.
