Thoughts:

Asher and Billie were probably two of my favourite people/ characters to read about so far.

Their love/hate, or basically hate/hate, dynamic just reeled me in, especially the actual banter between them from the posters on his office window to just wanting a reaction from her.

Billie is such a strong female lead with her experiences and dedication to her business. I love how the author still brings the other characters in from other books in the series, and we get insights into who they are.

Finding out about how far their history went back was so exciting and unexpected. This book contains so many twists that it will keep you on the edge, turning page after page.

Something the book touches on is grief, and I thought it was special to read about the bond Asher shared with his sister and how it affected his life, and to read about his journey through his past loss.
