Bookish People I’d Like To Meet

Bookish People, book bloggers, Instagrammers, authors, and much more recently booktokers! We all have those we’d like to meet.

The ones who love similar books as us, cherish certain series, fangirl over the same authors, or just seem like really awesome dream friends. Perhaps even book characters!

There have been so many amazing authors and bloggers I’ve met in the last 10+ years of blogging and many more I hope to meet one day.

Bookish People I’d Like To Meet

1 – Emerald Book Reviews

I’ve already met Nicole once briefly at a book signing although I was shy and not as confident as I would be now. Her page brings me so much joy and I’d love to connect, especially as she’s also from Northern Ireland.

2 – Beth Barany

I’ve been working alongside Beth for nearly a year and every day she inspires and motivates me with the many different avenues of her creativity and knowledge of futurism and the bookish world.

3 – Paige Toon

Paige is my unicorn author whose books will always be a security blanket for me. I started reading her books when I was 16 and started with Chasing Daisy, now 29 years old I have grown, and gone through so much and her books have been there for me through it all.

4 – Keri Lynn on Tiktok

I’ve been following Keri for nearly a year now and honestly her videos are amazing and she seems so awesome!

5 – Natalie Anderson

This author has the ability to make me fall in love with a character in seconds and have such high expectations for romance in books.

8 – Shiraz from Diary of a Chav by Grace Dent

9 – Jana Oliver

I absolutely loved The Demon Trappers and it was the first book series to hook me in after Twilight and still a series I love and recommend.

10 – Emily Bronte/Jane Austen

Who wouldn’t want to meet the original authors who made us fall in love between the pages of books with the brooding man or whose books started us off with a bookish obsession?
